Ingredients

  • Red dates: 110g
  • Water: 500g
  • Egg: 250g (about 5 pcs)
  • Brown sugar: 180g
  • Cake flour: 180g
  • Baking soda: 4g
  • Baking powder: 5g
  • Corn oil: 100g
  • Walnut kernels: 50g
  • White sesame seeds: 2g

Cooking Steps

Step 1/7

Prepare the ingredients according to the required ingredients.

Step 2/7

Add pitted red dates to water and cook until the dates are rotten. Use a food processor to smash them and continue cooking until they become sticky. Stir during this period to prevent them from sticking to the pot.

Step 3/7

Add the eggs to the brown sugar in three batches and beat with an electric egg beater until foamy.

Step 4/7

Add date paste, sifted low-gluten flour, baking soda and baking powder, mix evenly until there is no dry powder, then add corn oil, stir with a whisk for a few seconds until even.

Step 5/7

Lift the cake batter and pour it into an 8-inch cake mold, and sprinkle walnut kernels and white sesame seeds on the surface.

Step 6/7

Preheat the appliance using the Mode Reference settings (mode, temperature, time). After preheating is complete, put the food into the second layer of the machine and start cooking immediately.

Step 7/7

After cooking, invert and let cool before serving.
